OT: My ten-year-old sister wants a pen pal, but they keep dumping her.

Hi, I have a daughter who is in the 3rd grade. She's almost 9 but I'm told she's somewhat advanced for her age although she seems like a regular kid to me. She is being considered for a gifted writers workshop that is for 10 and up so I assume that that means she writes at atleast a 10 year old level atleast. She's about to finish her second Harry Potter book. She loves AG, dogs and animals and some other stuff. She is not into Barbie and anyways she's in the AGclub so maybe they could send a few messages to each other to see if they click? If your interested let me know and I can PM you her club name.

There's nothing wrong with her, they just stop emailing her. She is really upset about it. She just got another one a month ago and sent her a package, but then as soon as she got the package she stopped emailing her. She put a purse, stickers, craft supplies, fun stuff, a bandana... All that cool stuff...
